What Furqan.shop is
Furqan.shop is a cafe discovery website. It helps people find cafes in Islamabad, Pakistan, and see what is actually known about each one: address, area, hours where verified, contact details where verified, and the sources behind every field.
The site is deliberately small today. Six cafes carry full verification and appear across discovery pages. A few more are in the pipeline and are shown only on the search page, honestly labelled as verification in progress. There are no user accounts, no reviews and no ratings on this site.
Where the information comes from
Every published field is compiled from cited public sources and keeps a record of what was observed, where and when. Sources are used in this priority order:
- The cafe's official website, when one exists.
- Official business information such as map listings.
- The cafe's official social profile, where applicable.
- Phone checks, where a phone verification was actually performed.
- Business directories, used only as lower-priority support.
How verification works
A profile is only published once it passes completeness and content gates: identity, address, an area, at least one reliable source, and five or more verified fact fields. Stronger sources outrank weaker ones, and every profile page lists its sources with observation dates.
Information is re-checked on a schedule. Profiles carry a freshness state, and details that may have drifted are flagged for re-verification rather than silently kept. The full process is described on how profiles are verified.
Why some information is missing
If a field is not backed by a source, it is left empty or labelled as not currently verified. Nothing is estimated. No guessing phone numbers, coordinates or opening hours. That is why profiles differ in length: each one shows exactly what its sources support.
Suggest a correction
Cafe details change. If something on a profile looks wrong, contact Furqan.shop with the page address and the field that needs fixing. Corrections are checked against sources before they are applied.
What is planned next
Planned, not yet live: owner-claimed profiles, visitor reviews, community contributions, and discovery beyond Islamabad. None of these are offered today, and this page will be updated only when they actually launch.
